* WHAT TO LOOK FOR WHEN BUYING A PUPPY *
*Make sure the pups have been examined by a vet and have received their first vaccination (or 2nd or 3rd ~ depending on age).
*The pups should have been dewormed twice to make sure they are free of internal parasites.
*The pups are either tattooed or microchipped.
*That you receive a written guarantee which identifies the pup, assures that you will be provided with a CKC registration certificate, that the pup was examined and vaccinated by a veterinarian (vet certificate included), and that the parents have been certified clear for hips and eyes, that the puppy is guaranteed against any genetic defect ~ typical guarantee--if the pup has to be euthanized before the age of two years for any genetic reason or if the pup develops PRA before the age of five years a replacement will be given
*Good breeders will strongly recommended that the pup be spayed/neutered and require you to sign a non-breeding contract.
*If for some reason you are unable to keep the dog the breeder should be willing to buy the pup back.
*You should also get a four-generation pedigree with pictures of the parents included as well as other information needed to get you started with your puppy.
* If you ever have questions I'm always available to answer them. *
